Meet Bec

Hi, I’m Bec — an AHPRA-registered Acupuncturist based in Dunsborough.

I’ve been working in acupuncture and natural health for almost 30 years and have a special interest in supporting people living with ongoing pain, stress and fatigue.

As someone who has personally navigated chronic pain and autoimmune-related health challenges for many years, I understand how important it is to feel heard, supported and comfortable in your treatment space. I also understand the impact that ongoing pain, stress and exhaustion can have on everyday life.

Acupuncture Sanctuary is designed to be a calm, quiet place to step away from the busyness of daily life and take time for your body to reset.

My interest in natural health began in my early 20s after experiencing ongoing health challenges and joint pain from a young age. At the time, I was introduced to dietary changes and natural therapies through a student naturopath — and for the first time, I noticed a meaningful shift in my energy levels and overall wellbeing.

This experience sparked a deep curiosity about how lifestyle, stress and the nervous system can influence our overall health and wellbeing.

After returning from overseas, I decided to study Naturopathy, Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture so I could better understand how to support my own health — and eventually help others do the same.

Over the past 28+ years, I’ve worked with people experiencing a wide range of concerns including pain, fatigue, stress, sleep issues and nervous system overload.

My approach is gentle, personalised and focused on supporting the body as a whole. Treatments are adapted to the individual and may incorporate a combination of acupuncture styles and techniques depending on what is most appropriate and comfortable for you.

This is why I created Acupuncture Sanctuary,— a calm and supportive space where people can slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with their wellbeing.
